WHERE are the plows?

I just had to drive home from out behind Golden Grove road and while I didn't seriously expect side roads to be plowed, McAllister Dr, Rothesay Avenue, Waterloo St, Charlotte St, Carmarthen, Wentworth- UNTOUCHED? What are we paying for?

I found the same thing coming from Grand Bay. Not one plow in sight. But I did see a few cars in the ditch.

I woke up to half a foot of snow outside. I don't think our road was plowed either. I heard 2cm tonight... I'm thinking it was wrong

Wow, very beautiful outside right now...

it's absolutely beautiful outside right now...
... that is if you like everything coated in white while large fluffy snowflakes fall slowly without a breeze.
... then we wake up @ 4am to the plows and all removed breaks loose first thing in the morning through the morning traffic to work

Same here Tara! Hubby was supposed to be at work half an hour ago and he still hasn't emailed me. I'm starting to get a bit worried.

It wasn't plowed everywhere I went, but it was still pretty awesome. I loved it...

Of course, I was a country boy born in April, I was taught to drive in this stuff...

I was very surprised that they not only had school but they were all starting on time. There was no plows around here at 7:45 and kids catch buses around that time out here. My granddaughter walks to school, home for lunch, back to school, then home after school and the roads were not done as the kids were heading to school in the South End. Funny thing about this all they decided to plow sidewalks before the roads on the street that they live on. It takes about 10-15 mins each way for her because they need to go up the hill on Pitt St. Would have more sence to do roads before sidewalks because where will the snow be pushed back on?

Never mind, I KNOW where they are now, out plowing my car in 3 feet deep on all 4 sides. Which one of you leaked my address to the city?

[It's a joke :-)]

On the up side, a very nice man helped me when I was out shoveling, and we got the job done in less than half the time it would have taken me. I didn't get his name, but I saw which vehicle he was shoveling out and my big plan is to buy some Tim hortons gift certificates when I am out today and tuck them under his windshield wipers.

I'm Glad to hear that Saint John still has some people willing to help..---instead of always being in a rush..

Bet he'll enjoy that Trinity-

P.s heard the hours for the snow removal parking ban remember to move it if your in that area)--cause that would really make your day-
