Life Insurance

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions of which insurance companies are decent to deal with (meaning reasonable rates & not needing to jump through a ring of fire to get coverage*LOL*)

I know a lot of people have LI through their workplace which is great....but as we know normally when/if you are done working for that company the insurance goes away...

PM if you'd prefer...

I myself deal with RBC (Royal Bank), and my wife and I each are covered for $150,000....for only $24.50 per month for both, not $24.50 each...total.

I have a different kind of coverage for my insurance needs. Here's my 2 cents worth. It is more important to have HEALTH insurance rather than life insurance. You need the money while your alive if something happens to you. (Cancer, accidents, heart attacks etc) Because unfortunatly even as good as our medicare is it does not cover everything. (look at all the beneifts that are held to help people out with cancer, heart attacks, transplants etc)
So I have Combined Insurance (been in business for close to 100 years) for my health insurance. I have 3 polices. 1 Policy covers me for 14 conditions. (heart attack, stroke, cancer, loss of limbs, peralisis, and many more) I have 50, 000 coverage that if I get any of these conditions I get cash when I need it the most, when I am sick. I pay 30.00 a month and that covers me for 50K and each of my kids for 10K.
Then I have a cancer policy. It pays me for each and every day that I am sick and surviving cancer (of any kind, and the odds right now are 1/3 will develop cancer of some sort in their lives.) For that policy I pay 23.00 a month and that covers, me and both my kids. No limits.
For accident insurance (I work in a field that injury is very common) I pay 15.00 a month (?) and it covers me for any kind of accidental injury on or off the job for 100.00 per day that I am injured.
For life insurance I have 100K policy that builds cash value, also covers me for some critical conditions, and a lot more great things, and I only pay 25.00 a month and that covers me for 100K and each of my kids for 25K each.
So for under 100 a month I have every possible angle covered for me and my kids. Also my (heatlh) policies have a return of premium after 15 years. Which means if I do not claim on them for 15 years then I get all the money I have paid into them returned to me. If I have claimed some money from them they deduct what you have paid in and what you have gotten back and they give you the difference. The way I look at it is that assuming I am healthy for the next 15 years (lets hope) then basically I got all my insurance free for the past 15 years, and I am not out anything! lol... Sweet deal I think. That is a policy that really makes sense to me!
Anyways. You could check out their website or pm if you would like more info about the types of polices that Combined has. Good luck it is hard to find one that suits your needs.
BTW, I am not in the greatest of health, and I am not the thinnest person you would meet, but I got covered. If I can get it I am sure anyone can. Good luck.
