Rogers Home Phone - Voicemails

We currently have Aliant home phone but are thinking of switching to Rogers so we can bundle with my cell/cable. The thing I am worried about is if Rogers is able to get voicemails from school/hockey that are forwarded directly from another mailbox. I have asked around and I get a 50/50 response (including Rogers).

I was wondering if anyone is able to get those voicemails with Rogers home phone?

When I switched to Rogers I instantly stopped getting voicemails from the kids schools, 3 different schools at that, was told the schools are on the Aliant system, and the 2 systems are not compatible. So my answer for you is no, and I was very annoyed about this as I had no idea this was the case prior to switching!

As far as I know you will not get any voicemails from any school while you are on Rogers....I suppose you could call and explain (I'm sure they're aware who can get messages) and ask to have notes sent home....
