Port forwarding

Ok I am just about ready to pull out the last little bit of hair I have left.. I am trying to forward ports through my setup and I just can't seem to get it to work.

Here is the hardware

Fibre-op actiontec r1000h modem/router from Alient
dlink 8 port dv808 hv router

the only thing plugged into the actiontec is the dlink and the home theater (only because the dlink was full)

I know I have to forward through the actiontec to the dlink the computer I want to port forward to is on the dlink but I have tried everything I can think of and just can't get it to reach the port.

any suggestions?

Thanks
Bill

Which port are you trying to forward to? In the actiontech you need to go to advanced setup, then port forwarding under security on the left hand side. Depending on what application or program your trying to use it may also not know to listen on the particular port you are trying to forward.

I have windows home server setup behind an actiontech, and a 24 port hub on port 80 with no issues
