Any of you cut christmas trees?

Are there any you cut christmas tree growers around the saint john area. I am so sick of buying trees and having them been cut a month ago. You take them home and before you even get them decorated, half the needles are gone.

Why not save a tree and purchase an artificial tree.

trees are a renewable resource while artifical trees end up in landfills after a few years. real trees decompose while artifical ones do not

Christmas trees are planted in order to be cut and sold. so If it weren`t for the tree farms these trees would not even exist. However I use a fake tree anyway :

I think the one on the peninsula retired (right by the store). There used to be one on Rogers Rd (in Hampton) There was another one (Titusville maybe) where you got a sleigh ride too. They should all be advertising soon. Good luck!

I think the one on Roger's Rd is called Frosty Hollows, we got one there a couple years ago and are very nice, they have hot chocolate and cookies as well :P

Frosty Hollows is a great spot. The people who run it are very friendly. As mentioned, you can also stop by the cabin to warm up with hot chocolate and cookies. Makes for a fun day!
Unfortunately he was closed last year (I heard the trees had a disease) I haven't heard yet if they are open this year but I sure hope so!!

Thank you Timmy. I know where I will get my tree this year. I see they are selling trees now that were cut 2 or 3 weeks ago. Bet they'll be nice and fresh by Christmas day. The one I got last year was so dry, when I got it home it lost half of it's needles before I even got it into the house.

to expand on this, while a real tree is being 'made' it helps the environment, an artifical one is made of plastics and metal which take energy to make and puts pollutants into the atmosphere...
