Weird, I do not think that would have flown with the border guard we got, he demanded that my friend take off her sunglasses, asked us both where we worked and how we knew each other and if we had ever been to court recently even as witness or plaintiff, not just as the accused :-0 He also asked if we were picking up or leaving anything or anyone in the USA.... yeah, I'ma picking up my mail order husband at the hardware store PO box and leaving this bar of gold bullion for the Yakuza in exchange. (and yes, I know better than to joke with border services, but the thoughts do spring to mind)
