Exhibition in Saint John

So like many other families I'm guessing... August is a month that we're low on cash. (School supplies, family bbq's, trips around.)

My little ones went to the fair and loved it, so we're going to go this year, I was just hoping someone might have an idea how much of a cash sink it's going to be lol!

Specifically how much bracelets are for the exhibition? I haven't been in years (I get motion sickness and it's just not my thing.)

Thanks in advance

I'm guessing they will be roughly $18.

They're $22 in advance and $26 at the gate. (I have to say though, I was hoping for $18 lol! )

But don't forget you also have to pay just to walk on the grounds.

There's no admission to the grounds
It's still retarded expensive though, but what can ya do? hahaha Once you turn 6 It's like a summer requirement apparently. My littler one is going to have a blast too, but he's more brave than my older one.

Thanks

The amount of information on there is really underwhelming. My husband called though and got most of the info we were looking for.

Actually, it has been a few years since they have charged admission to the Ex. One of the reason's they stopped was because the fair at Harbour Station does not charge admission to the fair grounds.

I called but they couldn't tell me, maybe one of you guys will know.

At the fair at Harbour Station, they charged 3 tickets per kid per ride... some let adults on free to accompany their young children, and some were 1 ticket.

Does anyone know if that is how the Ex is running it?

So to anybody that's gone this year, how was it? I'm taking me 6 and 2 year old daughters tomorrow night and was wondering how the rides are/what they have/etc? We're going at about 7pm, is there still many exhibits at that time? face painting, pony rides?
Thanks for any answers!

The FREX is WAY more expensive
27.00 for bracelets (23 in advance) AND you have to pay an entrance fee to get on the grounds, EVEN WITH A BRACELET!
Last year it was a total waste of money, not many rides, and way too many "games" booths.

At the FREX you do pay admission to the grounds on top of the other costs (tickets or bracelets)
