Looking for a recipe.

Last year the newspaper put a holiday recipe insert. It had a recipe for eggnog cheesecake. I made it last year for a family get together and it was a big hit. But of course I can't find the insert (must of gotten recycled) and I can't find a recipe online that is similar. This one used eggnog from the carton and didn't have rum in it (I don't think). If anyone has a copy from last year that they could dig out, or have the recipe could you post it here please? TIA!!

Here is one that uses rum extract.

This looks real good. No rum

Thanks Sanne but the one I had didn't even call for rum extract. I was going to ask on CFNS LOL...but wanted to see if anyone still had their copy of the insert from the paper.

How lucky are you that I keep everything, lol.

Here it is from the 2008 Holiday Recipes

Egg Nog Cheesecake

Make Graham Wafer Bottom

2 cups graham wafer crumbs
1/2 C margarine
3 tsp sugar

Bake for 5 mins in a 350 degree oven

Part one-

2-28 oz packages of cream cheese
whip this well and set aside

Part two-

2 cups of cold egg nog
1 3/4 cups cold milk
2 pkgs instant vanilla pudding

Whip all ingredients together really well

Then add part 1 slowly and mix and then add 1/8 tsp of nutmeg.

Put in cooled bottom and let set

When ready to serve add Cool Whip

Thank you Thank you...That is it. I knew there was hardly anything to it. No eggs, rum, and most of the other recipes call for 3 pkgs of cream cheese and I didn't remember using that much. But I know this recipe makes enough for one ready made graham crust, 20 tarts and there was still some left over in the bowl that my fiance ate by itself.
