Amazing Photos & Travel Spots - "Bizarre and unusual destinations around the world"

I came across this gallery:

Bizarre and unusual destinations around the world
http://www.latimes.com/travel/la-tr-oddspots-pg,0,1697008.photogallery

The photos and places are amazing

My favourites are numbers: 3,4,5,15,18,19,23,27,28

Here are a few:

"The Wave" in Arizona... 190-million year old sand dunes that turned to rock:

That was the most amazing one to me, but I don't think I had even heard of it before

World's biggest pool in Chile:

Bolivia - "Seasonal floods transform the large, dry surfaces of the world's largest salt flat into one of the biggest mirrors on Earth."

"Glass Beach" in California... "look at that twinkly stuff underfoot: silvery, green, blue, orange and occasionally red bits of ground glass, twinkling in the sun and tumbling in the tide along with tons of standard sand, bits of metal, a little kelp."

...in Mexico - "surrealist structures created by English aristocrat Edward James". I had heard about that one recently... wacky but cool
