Is H1N1 In Your Child's School?

I thought this thread might be a good way to inform other parents if the virus is in your child's school; considering school officials and public health appear to be dragging their feet regarding this information. Please post your child's grade and school so that other parents can make informed decisions regarding their own children. (same with daycares)

My son goes to Havelock, it's there. He is sick right now (gr.3), I am taking him today to be tested. I guess ther are at almost 50% absentee rate.

Good idea Jillybean!!

Bayview has atleast one case.

The kids came home today and told me there is one confirmed case, but they said the teachers couldn't tell them anymore more than that. So I don't know what grade, sorry.

This is a great thread. My daughter also goes to centenial (she's in Kindergarten) and I had no idea it was there. I think they should at least let parents know if a child has it so they can look for symptoms in their kids. Hope your kids feel better soon!

My daughter goes to Sjbke, and we received a letter home last week, saying that the school could have been infected, very vague, so it's really no more information then we had before. I'd like to know what's going on.

Not sure about the school, but a lady I work with was complaining today because she had to leave work yesterday as her son's school called and told her she had to go pick him up because he coughed in class. He apparently doesn't even have a cough, must have just been something that made him cough, we all cough for no reason sometimes.
