Halloween
Does anyone know if the kids trick or treat on Saturday night (30th) or Sunday night (31st)? Just wondering because I was told that you couldn't trick or treat on sunday because it's God's day...

Leroy, I remember when I was younger and it fell on Sunday, we had gone out the Saturday night instead, but that was about 20 years ago... And I do remember it being because of some upset people about halloween being celebrated on the sabbath day... Not sure what they do now though .

One year at least they changed the date in KV, to the 30th so it didn't fall on a Sunday or something, but Saint John did not change it, so all it did was double up for a lot of city kids who went out to the valley one night and the valley kids came in town the next...

the last time halloween fell on a sunday was 2004 and they did change the day to saturday the 30th, but as of right now everything is still set to go for the 31st this year
