Cheapest bread outlet in the city?

We used to go to Irving but now the bread there is pretty much the same price as Superstore. Are there any good deals left?

I find that between Sobey's, Shopper's Drug Mart, and Superstore, usually one of them each week will have whole grain bread for less than $2

Whole grain bread has a lot of nutritional benefits, and white bread might even be a bit bad because it has "simple sugars", so I think whole grain is worth it

I think some of the small bakeries also have bread for half price sometimes, if it's a little older... I'm thinking of places like Glen's Bake Shop and MacPhee's Bakery in the KV and the place on City Road that used to be called Bunsmaster Bakery

Superstore does that too, with the rack off to the side

I agree about the ww bread. I made a point of introducing the kids to ww bread when they were babies so that it would be white bread that tasted "funny" LOL

What about that place near the Good Fortune chinese place? I think it says Dempsters outlet but I've never been inside.

There's a Ben's outlet on the westside on Wilson Street (off Catherwood). They have fresh and "day old"

Went to Little John's but it looked like they had the same pricelist as Irving. Cheapest was 1.49 and up from there.
