Anybody know what the stacks are in the left background in the picture of Union Street is? I think it would be where Market Sq is today??

I've looked and looked, best guess is either something at the port, or the Sugar Refinery, if I am looking at the picture as being close to the corner of Germain and Union

Yeah I think the pic is from where Vitos is on the corner but I don't remember anything with stacks around Market Sq area I guess I'm not old enough to remember.

My husband says they are from the old power house at the foot of Union Street where York Point is now.
