So true Woofer. I'm just sitting here watching the news and saw a few people at the Esso on Rothesay Ave saying that the regulation isn't working. I think it's working, it stays the same for a week but that's about it!

I drive a diesel so I pay $1.39. Although I filled up on the 13th and still have 1/2 a tank

I seen the price going up to what it is, Nova Scotia was at that price last week. So figured ours was going to be close to it.

It's a 1.09 for me down there, still a savings. Especially since by the time I get home the needle hasn't moved. I am on my way down there in the next few days, going further than calais but still.

A Jetta TDI. Great gas mileage. I get 46-50MPG around town. Better than any hybrid

This tank I am going to see about 1200KM but thats because I'm down in MA/NH right now, so its all highway. I usually get around 800 to 900 around the city.

The cost of diesel is slightly higher, but in-turn I see a better mileage. Works out better for me that way.

No sense complaining about fuel prices. Even when prices go to $2.00 lets face it... we're still going to pay for it. Am I right? If you don't drive, you may not be paying for the price increase directly but indirectly you'll be paying for it as everything will cost more. I was told by a trucker that with the prices going up as much as they are we'll be paying $8.00 for a head of lettuce within 5 years.
I drive a supercharged car that requires supreme gas. It costs me $50 to fill and I am LUCKY to see 350kms out of it!! LOL Oh well!!

I agree Tremc. I worked owning a car into my budget years upon years ago. I never complain about the price.

Truckers are hit the most, they may not pay the same prices as us but 300 Gallon tanks are costly to fill. Everyone is saying gas should be around $1.50 by the time summer comes into full swing. That's pretty expensive. Hopefully people will start realizing that it's time to drive a car that gets more than 20 or 30 MPG.

It's okay, my car is turbocharged

I think fuel prices are artificially high. Years ago when 1 barrel of oil was 60$, we were paying 1.30+ /L Regular Self-Serve. Now, years later, 1 barrel of oil is nearly 130$ and gas is ~1.30/L. Figure that one out.
