Anyone know what this is?

http://s210.photobucket.com/albums/b...t%20this%20is/

I thought it was a standard UPS back up until I opened it tonight to see what the Model on the battery was and found a coil wired up instead of a battery. I can find nothing about the company ( Uveco, Made in Denmark) and a search from the model # ( bb-40078-b) brings up absolutely nothing. Its essentially working right now as an power bar and thats about all I know about it. It came with additional fuses as well but there are no fuses inside the case of it, any help would be appreciated

Can you get a better pic of the label? that one is un-readable. one suggestion, is it is a voltage regulator. It helps maintain a constant output of 110 volts to the computer equipment hooked up to it.

It isolates a device from any spikes on the wall power. Basically like a UPS without the battery backup, or a souped up power bar. It's meant to protect sensitive medical equipment from problems on the power grid.
