I do not think there is such a thing as soft hit...A check is a check and they don't care why......the more hits the lower your score goes.....

Ok, i went into the CU with a very recent equifax and pay stubs etc...asked if i met the criteria for a loan to buy a home......i specifically NO CRedit check, just want to know if i meet criteria...
