Listening to ænima by Tool as I had lost the CD and finally found it! yay!

My shadow's
shedding skin and
I've been picking
Scabs again.
I'm down
Digging through
My old muscles
Looking for a clue.
I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own confused
And insecure delusions
For a piece to cross me over
Or a word to guide me in.
I wanna feel the changes coming down.
I wanna know what I've been hiding in
My shadow.
Change is coming through my shadow.
My shadow's shedding skin
I've been picking
My scabs again.
My shadow
Change is coming.
Now is my time.
Listen to my muscle memory.
Contemplate what I've been clinging to.
Forty-six and two ahead of me.
I choose to live and to
Grow, take and give and to
Move, learn and love and to
Cry, kill and die and to
Be paranoid and to
Lie, hate and fear and to
Do what it takes to move through.
I choose to live and to
Lie, kill and give and to
Die, learn and love and to
Do what it takes to step through.

Oh my, you are brining me back...

Clumsy & Automatic Flowers by OLP-- I am 14 and hanging out in Renforth with the old gang.

That Dave Matthews song...I can't remember what it's called but it goes "tonight, let's be lovers then tomorrow go back to being friends, but tonight let's be lovers"...that always brings me down for a min as I am reminded of the one that got away.

The one that wasn't ever good for you, but has that ever lasting charm your former younger self found so attractive. It's just nostalgia now.

My favorite Dave Matthews song ever is the "When the World ends" they do at follsom (spelling?) field. He is one of the sexiest man ever and that performance comfirms that. lol

I am listening to Rosetta Stoned right now by Tool...it's very progressive nu-metal lol, not for everyone, but if you get what Tool is about, it's very clever.

Besides it is amazingly musically complex....

I have a very wide spectrum of musical taste.....

The kids are out with family so I am free to listen to some tunes and relax!

It's 'Say good bye' I would marry him if I could. lol. I'm such a sad little fan girl.
So funny you should say that though, I had a period in time when my current fiance and I weren't together and there was this guy, and the same song reminds me of him. It's kind of funny really. That one and Rapunzel... but I dare not quote any of that song. He use to sing and play guitar a lot.

Oopsie. My bad. I'm pretty close minded with music. Well, not close minded, I'll listen to about anything, but rap, but I usually stick to my little genre.
Whatever that is.

I am listening to the new Tori Amos CD on my playlist. I am loving the piano in Big Wheel and it makes me want to dance! Is it just me or is there a reference to Tool- Eulogy there? Also I love Teenage Hustling. I am not sure how I feel about the entire album yet as I just started listening to it.
