I guess they must be ok. They didn't cancel school. Only in district #10. Sometimes I don't understand their thinking. Have a good day everyone.:)

I just drove home from work, from the up town to the east side. There was only one road plowed (loch lomond) and i was only on it for 30 feet...

My daughter REALLY loves school and didn't want to stay home so I sent her. We live close to the school so the bus doesn't have far to go. I still think it's strange that they didn't cancel it though.

Roads are slick, my son's bus was about 15 minutes late.
I agree, it should have been a snow day if we are scheduled to get more snow.

Careful driving!

Luvz_ya

they should call it a half day and send the kids home

45 Minutes to get from the Rothesay avenue on-ramp to the Garden Street exit. 20-40km/h Max, except for those nutty 18-wheelers who didn't seem to care. They're an absolute menace! Oh another peeve; those drivers who whip along in the fast lane til they're within 50yds of the exit, then they lock their car up and expect those who've been waiting patiently, creeping in a line-up of bumper to bumper traffic, to yield to them! HA!, some people's sense of privelige!?!

My hubby is one of those 18-wheeler menaces!!! He doesn't drive like that though. He drives slow when it snows. He was in a really bad accident years ago in a snow storm, so now he drives very slow when there is a storm. He is in New Jersey right now so I don't have to worry.

My kids waited over 1/2 hour for a no-show school bus heading north to MNS, so I sent them back home. Not worth waiting in that 40-50 gust winds.

More than just district 10 should have been cancelled... the intersections are a mess!!

Mandy

I did not hear anything about the kids being sent home at noon; lets hope they get home safe at their regular times!
