City of Saint John Snow Control Operations Continue - Monday, February 23rd
Saint John Works crews are continuing plowing operations - plows have not been taken off the road in Saint John. Progress is being made but with the storm continuing, the amount of snow already fallen, gusting winds and previous accumulations of snow, drivers are asked to stay off streets if possible and to not park vehicles on street.
Street plowing operations will continue into the evening to cover all routes once. Push back operations will resume tomorrow morning, as will continued clearing of sidewalks.
There is no ban on overnight parking in the South/Central Peninsula tonight, but there will be a ban on Tuesday night. Check media, notifications, or call 658-4040 for up to date information.
Snow removal operations are scheduled for this evening in the South/ Central Peninsula and Central Business District and will continue on Tuesday during the overnight parking ban. Snow removal operations will continue for the remainder of the week. Saint John Works requests your patience as we work to clear streets and sidewalks, and to be mindful of heavy equipment operations and the dangers of snow removal equipment.
