On March 13th, 2009, I am holding a Dinner and Auction at Jake’s Steak House to raise money for a 2-year-old boy named Logan Gibb. Logan was born with Pfeiffer’s Syndrome and unfortunately has been in and out of the hospital since he was born which also included numerous surgeries and specialists. The family had to rush him into the hospital Monday morning for they were unable to wake him up. When they arrived at the hospital doctors took an oxygen reading and he was holding at 30%, which they said was equivalent to someone having carbon monoxide poisoning. On Tuesday Logan Was airlifted back to the IWK and placed in the Intensive care unit in Halifax awaiting yet another serious surgery on his skull adenoids and tonsils, then after this one he has to travel to Toronto.
So as you can see this child has gone through a lot, much more then a child his age should ever have to go through. I am asking for donations for our auction to raise money to help cover the cost for the trip and help the family financially. All donations are greatly appreciated; thank you for your consideration
