Saint John Parking Commission South/Central Peninsula Parking Brochure Revised

Saint John Boys and Girls Club to get the word out

The Saint John Parking Commission has asked members of the Saint John Boys and Girls Club to assist them in delivering their revised Parking in the South/Central Peninsula brochure to residents in the City’s south end, in exchange for a donation to the Club.

“We have revised our brochure to reflect changes to our Snow Ban parking lots, and the best way to communicate these changes is to hand deliver the information door to door to residents in the affected area,” said Councillor Christopher Titus, Chairman of the Saint John Parking Commission. “It is great to work with such an outstanding group as the Saint John Boys and Girls club to deliver this information. In return we are able to contribute a little extra financial support to their organization’s Keystone Club, the youth leadership group for members aged 13-17.”

The brochures will be delivered to residents of the South/Central Peninsula throughout the day on Saturday, December 6th, beginning at 9:15am at the Saint John Boys and Girls Club at #1 Paul Harris Street. The revised brochure will also be available in the Parking Commission Section of the City of Saint John website at HUwww.saintjohn.caUH.

The Saint John Parking Commission provides both long-term and short-term parking in uptown Saint John and ensures that future parking plans are adequate to meet the current as well as future needs of the City. They maintain efficient operation of both on-street and off-street parking facilities for the fulfillment of public needs in relation to parking.

The mission of all Boys and Girls Clubs in Canada is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.

For over 100 years, Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada have carried on a tradition of helping young people to discover, develop and achieve their full potential as adults, citizens and leaders, by engaging them in activities that challenge and enrich their minds, bodies and spirits and nurture their self-esteem.
