Ward Councillors to Host Series of Community Conversations

“Let’s Talk” invites communities and councillors to work together
Saint John, NB – Ward councillors from the City of Saint John will host 14 community conversations with citizens over the next four weeks. These community conversations will allow Council and citizens to work together to determine neighbourhood priorities and a course of action for the future. Citizens are invited to attend any of these events.
Ward 1 (hosted by Councillors Bill Farren and Peter McGuire)
• October 21, Tuesday, 7-9pm – St Mark’s Church
• October 22, Wednesday, 7-9pm – KBM
• October 23, Thursday, 7-9pm – Hillcrest Baptist Church (ASL interpreter)
• October 26, Sunday, 2-4pm – Lorneville Community Centre
Ward 2 (hosted by Councillors Patty Higgins and Gary Sullivan)
• October 28, Tuesday, 7-9pm – Millidgeville Community Centre (ASL interpreter)
• October 29, Wednesday, 7-9pm – Somerset Community Centre
• October 30, Thursday, 7-9pm – North End Community Centre
Ward 3 (hosted by Councillors Carl Killen and Donnie Snook)
• November 4, Tuesday, 7-9pm – Carleton Community Centre
• November 5, Wednesday, 7-9pm – Loch Lomond Villa Auditorium (ASL interpreter)
• November 6, Thursday, 7-9pm – South End Community Centre
Ward 4 (hosted by Councillors Bruce Court and Joe Mott)
• November 12, Tuesday, 7-9pm – Loch Lomond School
• November 13, Wednesday, 7-9pm – Champlain Heights School (ASL interpreter)
• November 16, Sunday, 2-4pm – Forest Glen Community Centre
There will also be an all wards meeting held in French at the Centre Samuel de Champlain, November 9 from 2-4pm.
