Let them play - kids hockey

Has anyone heard of a hockey program for kids called "Let them play"? I guess it is geared towards kids who need to learn the basics of hockey and get to play and not be benched because they lack the skills...I was wondering if anyone knows how to get my son into this program or one like it, he is 8 years old and wants to start hockey, but has never played before. The Yerxa program is way too expensive and I know if I enrolled him into Saint John Youth Hockey, he would never get to play, therefore would never learn.:o

Our kids play school boy hockey for Champlain Heights School its great, usually only costs 20.00 a child, so really the only expense is your equiptment. It is every Saturday morning at the LBR. All kids get time on the ice! Most of the elementary schools in Saint John are in, check with yours!
