Does anyone know how long it takes if you do your taxes by telefile/netfile. to get deposited into your bank account. Thanks

I think it's about a week faster. H&R Block will give you an instant refund if applicable but the fees are higher for that service

In your tax package it says about 8 business days if you netfile.I didn't see anything for time listed for the telefile.

I have done ours through telefile for 3 years now and the longest it ever took was 10 days. Matter of fact 2 years ago 7 days.

Just as a note, I LOVE Ufile-that program has found me deductions I never would have on my own, I paid and paid for years until I started using Ufile to prepare my taxes, and nothing but refunds ever since. Best 12.95 I ever spent-makes me wonder what I was doing wrong all those years, my income has not gone down and my deductions have not gone up. Then you use netfile to file your taxes you created using Ufile and VOILA!, actual refund, lots faster.

Two options-you can buy the program at Future shop or you can go to Ufile.ca and fill out the info online, then pay by credit card at the end to either file with netfile or to print it out and mail it Canada Post.

CRA is not processing any income tax (refunds or not) until Februay 12. Anyone who has sent in/netfiled or called in their return should not expect to see their refund for at least 7 days after this date (Feb 19).
H & R BLock will give you an instant refund (cashback) if you have an expected amount back in excess of 75.00. They will withhold 15% of the first $300.00 and 5% of the balance. A lot of the time it works out to the taxpayers benefit if you choose cashback unless the fund is in the thousands
.............just a little info for you

So 15% (or 5% even) interest for 1 week (what's that, like 300 percent per yr) is a good deal? Now I can see how people get duped into using money mart. 1.05^52=?
Wait for the money it's only a week or 2!!??
