does any body know how much a church charges to get a new born baby baptism?

my daughter was baptised at St. Anne's. They dont charge anything

I don't think it would cost anything, I had my first baptised in a differant city than we lived in so we didn't even belong to the church and there was no charge, however we did have to go up a day or so early to have the "councilling session" which just basically asked us why we wanted our baby baptised and talked about morals ect.

I'am catholic and I just had my daughter baptised and it did not cost anything. However when i called the church they had to set up the time and i had to go to a meeting for it.

I could be wrong but I don't think most churches charge for this. My church doesn't and my brother is a pastor at a church in another city and they don't charge for this either. These are baptist churches.

just wanted to add that although there is most likely not a formal charge, you and any guests attending should make a contribution to the collection plate, probably common sense but i thought i would throw it out there anyway

just thought i would put this out there we are catholic and had our babies done at st.pius and they don't charge anything and there isn't a collection plate that goes around but you could donte and light a candle....

Im anglican and my son and neice were both baptised at All Saints Church located East side on Park Ave. There was also no charge. My nephew will also be done there in the near future.(10 days old).
