Ultrasound at St.Joe's

Anyone ever have an ultrasound done at St.Joe's? Do they charge you for pictures or DVD of baby?

I did have an ultrasound at St. Joe's but my daughter is almost 3 so getting a pic or DVD wasn't an option then

They do charge a fee of $70. At the Regional you go to the medical records office, I assume it is the same at St. Joes.

We didn't get the disc because we thought the quality of the photos was terrible. I kind of ripped into them a little, because I couldn't believe the ONLY option is a disc with about 30-40 photos [totally depends on how many the tech takes] of crappy quality for that price. There are a lot of low-income families in this city & they should at least offer a copy of one photo for $10 or something.

I'll be getting two more ultrasounds...both at the regional...& I intend to see what the quality of those are & maybe purchase a disc there.

yeh, but the only you get to see Dr.Sanderson is if you are high risk or if they are checking something.

I bought the CD for my ultrasound at the regional and they were fine. I would recommend that if you want something specific to tell the technician and she or he will take a picture.

I was seen by Dr. Sanderson's clinic from 30 weeks on and they never gave me any pictures.

You have to ask for them. I have like 20 pics from this pregnancy alone. I didnt have to pay anything.

I also saw Dr. Sanderson, and got no pictures. I was told there was a fee by the ultrasound tech. So I never thought to ask Dr. Sanderson.
