Last year pogo charged me 19.99 USD to join..I just saw they automatically charged my cc 34.99USD for another year!!!!!!!!

I didnt authorize pre-payment and I certainly didnt want another year at that fee!

trying to email those people was like trying to find a way through a corn maze blindfolded!

I know they always try to scam, but somewhere in the agreement or legal crap, im pretty sure they say " they will renew subscription automatically each year billing to credit card, unless specifically told not too...or cancelled before your subcription runs out.....but hard to do when you cannot get ahold of them , they never answer emails...claiming to be "BUSY"...yea right....lol ...
there has to be something they can fall back on and use as the "EXCUSE" for their actions..always trying to bilk people out of something.....its getting unreal.

Pogo does say in there that they will auto take it out if not informed before the time the next renewal is due.I have a number you can call if you want it puppyluv...never used it myself but it was given to me as a contact number...pm if you want to try it.

I noticed they billed my account $34.99 when my subscription info said $19.99. That's really rude stating one price and billing $15 more

*sigh* since their reply was a generic piece of crap, and I have to wait 7 more days to re-open the problem with them, I guess I will have to call the idiots.

Gee that makes me see red.

Call your credit card and open a dispute. Credit card companies are usually really good about trying to help their clients.

Pogo does state that it will automatically charges the next year when it is time to renew. They also state that the price that you get the first year is a promotional price. I have had pogo for 2 years but I read all the info before I signed up. You can complain all you want but there is nothing that they are going to do for you as it is in the terms of agreement. If you do not want the pass to be charged again take your CC off the pogo site.

I had received an email reminding me my subscription was going to expire and the renewal rate would be 19.99. I kept the email and sent it to them and received the 19.99 not 34.99. I could see if they didn't offer me the cheaper rate but since they did and charged 15.00 that wasn't very fair and my card was credited accordingly.

Yikes, I'll be sure to tell my Mom about this. Both her and my Grandmother order Pogo Club passes.

Same thing happened to me, my cc was charged:

<TABLE class=element cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR bgColor=#ffffff><TD class=table>ONLINE GAMES POGO/EA WWW.EA.COM</TD><TD class=table align=right>41.39</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I didn't receive any renewal email or any other information. Ticked me off too since I paid $19.99 last year, but "sigh", guess I should have read the fine print. :-(
