Time......time heals all wounds. I have a 91/2 year old cat that has (for one reason or another) outlasted her other 'pets'. I just got her a kitten and it took 2 days. Now the old bat (called that out of fondness, of course!) licks the kitten, chases it, and they are inseparatable!

Just give it time :-)
