:)Hi

We are moving outside of Saint John this summer, and I will be looking for part to full time work, how is the job situation there? I am just wondering if finding a job will be difficult. I have a lot of retail, office, management and manufacturing experience. My husband and I owned our own business for 13 years, which we have happily :D sold (we had 12 employees, and I kept the books, did payroll ect)

I am not too worried about wage, but I need days. Just feeling things out right now... hoping my job search won't be too trying. I heard Saint John was expecting a small boom??

I would be so grateful for any input. Thanks so much for any help!

thank you for the links. Do you see a few help wanted signs around? I am just wondering what the job market is like there. I always find a lot of jobs aren't advertised in print. I think the best way to find out how a job market is, is to talk to people who live there.

Thanks again for your help!! I really appreciate it:)

I know that alot of retail stores are looking for people, see the signs all over the place. I have talked to some business owners and one said he has resorted to stoping people on the street and asking them if they need a job, they need 53 employees and only have 42. So depending on the job you are looking for, you shouldnt have any problems.

Thank you so much for your replies!:D I will be looking for retail or office, so that is perfect... as long as I don't own my own business, I am fine:eek: 13 very stressful years, and looking to enjoy working for someone else!

I am hoping for good Karma, my husband and I were very nice, accomodating, kind bosses, so I am hoping for the same when I go out there;)

Again, thanks for your replies, I feel so much more at ease about our move there now...
