Laptop touch pad not responding

It seems to me that my laptop mouse "area" (touch pad) isn't responding as well as it used it..

Is there a way I can re-calibrate it???

I use an HP Pavilion Ent PC & my O.S is Vista

HP probably has a Synaptics device. Try their website:

They have updated drivers and software for their brand of touch pads.

No problem. I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC as well. So I keep up on the drivers when I can.
