Ok here's the prob, a friend of mine called me up and said he was having problems with his comp. Problem was he had the trojan "spy shredder" on his computer. I tried through windows to delete it, but it wouldn't work, so I figured I would reinstall windows(XP Home), except when I did it was saying that there was no hard disk found, so I checked BIOS and did an autodetect for the HDD, showed it there. When to try again, same thing. Then I tried changing the BIOS to default, still nothing, so then I figured I would just reboot windows, and try something else except for when I took the cd out and rebooted it came up with a boot disk error, so I again went into the bios, made sure the hard drive was the 1st boot device, nothing. Tried it a couple of times, nothing. I then restarted the computer to low and behold the BIOS was gone, and it was only coming up with CD BOOT:
Boot disk error... Someone please help me, what do I do?
