How do I find someone.....?

If I have a person's name and birthdate, how would I go about finding them? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

due to the new privacy laws, it is harder to find someone than it used to be.

the first step would be the phone book. look them up. even if they aren't listed, usually someone in their family is. this is a lot easier if they don't have a real common last name.

I'm in a similar situation .. looking for someone for a friend of mine. I'm not sure if I used the proper medium, but I tried putting a post on here earlier this evening, in hopes of finding this person, or family members of this person, for my friend. It's certainly worth a try, if they could be still living in the area here, or have family in the area who might see your posting and be able to help you locate them.
