Anyone else listen to Andrew Crystal on the radio? And if so did anyone catch it when he was looking for callers with mental illness and when the sister this article talks about was on the show as a guest telling her story of her severe bi-polarity?
Please read the article, it is VERY interesting .

Wow. I had not heard this. But after reading it I definatly will be talking to my dr about it on monday. LOL. I have been on every kind of medication and nothing works, maybe this will work for me.. I don't mind paying 180 a month for pills if they help!

it is still in the study phase, unfortunately. However i have been reading a lot about diet and mental illness today and found out there are things we can do nutrionally to help . I believe i am suffering some form of depression and i am going to try eating well. Looking up the best foods for that now

It has been know for years that eating well balanced meals, following the Canadian food guide and exercising regularly can help to combat depression. I think the fellow selling these pills is probably just scamming people. Just my opinion.

If you go to their website you will see that they are selling them to anyone who wants to order them which tells me they are no longer in the study phase. As I said earlier, I believe it is a scam, just like hundreds of other companies who sell nutritional and vitamin supplements. Speak to any Doctor and they will tell you that the amounts of vitamins and nutrition that are in these supplements is so little that they amount to being of no help. Eating well balanced meals, following the Canadian food guide and exercising regularly will help and is a lot less expensive then these get rich quick scams.

Also most of these companies are unregulated so God only knows what is in them.

The Dave, I partially agree with you. It could very well be a "scam" and just someone trying to line their pockets and make a quick buck... HOWEVER I am speaking from the point of view of someone that has been dealing with (or at least trying to deal with) bipolar for 12 years. In that 12 years I have been on a shopping list of drugs. None of which worked with decent results for me, and I am sure that others are in the same situation. I have been on everything from celexa, to prozac, to lithium, to valium, to effexer and everything else in between. I have been sent to diaticians to try eating right and getting the right amount of vitamins. But unfortunatly diet alone has not helped me win the battle on this... So if there is a "magic pill" that will at least help me control my rapid cycles then darn it I am gonna try it. What can it hurt? If its just vitamins and such I am sure that I will not get the creepy crawly feeling under my skin, or break out in blisters from head to toe, or any of the other problems I have experienced with the heavy drugs I have been on in the past... I am sure that when other medications came out there was thesame argument, but after lab and subjet testing it is proved whether they are legit meds or just a fly by night company trying to make a quick buck. I myself am going to order those pills right now seeing as it is such a good buy too.. lol.. Our money is on par with US so I can get a bottle of those pills for about 75 and give them a try, maybe this is what I have been searching and hoping for for years now. Thanks mommyd for posting this info.

Before buying into this, try researching some of the facts. You should be able to locate the people in the article. You should also be able to find the info on the research grant. It is so important to educate yourself, as unfortunately there are frauds everywhere.

And if this is a scam, shame on the people trying to profit.

If I were you, I wouldn't try anything without consulting your Doctor first. They have been selling these since 1996, if it did what it says it does, then don't you think every Doctor would be pushing this stuff to their bipolar patients if the results are soooo good. See if you can get a list of ingredients first and take it to your Doctor. Good Luck and be careful.

 I have to say I agree with The Dave on this one! Just remember, if something sounds too good be true, it usually is! (not to discount the problems you have had regulating your meds.)
