The Canadian dollar closed at 98.76 yesterday, with the U.S. announcing an extra large interest rate cut in order to keep their economy from going into recession.

So are you:
a) proud of the increasing strength of the Canadian economy?
b) chuckling at the increasing weakness of the U.S.?
c) worried about losing your job if the U.S. economy sinks into recession?
d) all of the above?

Also, how soon do you think we'll be at par?

I'm a) proud, b) chuckling, and think par by the end of this week.

B. Muwahahahaha Take THAT. Although I do worry about the call center jobs. Most are US based companies. Either way, it's going to make my ebay experiences so much more fun! :D

par by the 3rd of Oct.

I had a $5us bill in my wallet for months. I finally brought it into the bank today. I got $4.99 for it! So we are over them now.

No we aren't over. The bank takes a portion for their pockets.
