Hi,

I've tried several different martial arts...
Tae kwon do, Judo, Jute Kwon Do, Jutistsu, and boxing.

Personally... I have a stockier frame but did tae kwon do for three and half years... I gained a lot of flexibility and was able to generate a really powerful kick.

Good places to find tae kwon do is chang young and JVK.
Both I think are about the same price... Chang yong has a shuttle service as well but I am not sure how much extra it is.

I would recommended taking the little guy out to several different classes.. judo is at millidgeville north on tuesdays and thursday.
Chang yong Tae Kwon do is on Waterloo street (the old Scotia Bank)
Jutistsu is on the west side.

Hope this helps.

Raj
