I am looking for information on activities for kids.
Scouts for my son on the east side and something for my 10yr old daughter. She's not into sports other than golf and yoga.
Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if dance would interest her, but there are plenty of different types of dance classes, there are majorettes, there is a cadet group that takes children as young as 8-11 in Rothesay I think....Cheerleading, pioneers groups, baton (not sure I spelt that right It's late lol) Local community centers are a great source.

There is a place on Rothesay Ave, right by the DQ they have dance lessons I do believe, not sure of the age requirement, but it looks like most schools are 3 yrs and up

Not sure if she'd be into that sort of thing but they have classes for kids, and they stress the importance of good grades, and listening to parents/room cleaning and stuff...make it part of their martial arts honor code, so to speak.

It's really an excellent program.
