does anyone know of any household (preferably eco-friendly) products that I can spray on my plants to get the bugs to stop eating them?

Some dish liquid mixed with water seems to work for the most part. I suppose it depends on what kind of bug are u talking about, or do u know??

Go to any garden store, they can tell you. There is something, but I cannot think of it.

That advice, although very astute and intelligent, kind of sounds familiar to me. Hmmmmmmmmm

you can crunch egg shells and put them around so the slugs won't crawl over them. put a dish of beer nearby too
