I dont know if anyone else ever noticed the real stink coming from a certain stores garbage compactor.They seemed to have put this thing in deffintly the wrong place.You smell it when you walk to the store and when your leaving it .The smell almost makes you vomit and this is a food store your walking into which makes it worse.You would think the money they get they would really fix this problem which is totaly discusting

I was there today. It is pretty bad. I thought it was just outside, but as I walked away from the store I realized it is closer to the store.
someone pm me and tell me what store lol ... i live north but i dont go anywheres over here , i always go over east

I walked by this store yesterday and almost puked. That smell is horrible. Nasty nasty smell....

Maybe they just don't realize how bad it is.If you are in a sitution where there is some kind of smell you get ammuned to it but someone just dropping by smells it right away.

it was in the "City Watch" section in the Telegraph a week or 2 ago.. they said they would fix the issue..

How can they NOT know how bad the stench is ? A lot of thee employee's go right outside where the cart dock is to smoke, drink coffee etc...

Plus, they use the entrance that I used to go in and out of work. I smelt it as plain as day when I left the store that day. So I am sure the employees are smelling it also.

i live right up the hill from the store and on hit sticky days i open up my back door and sometimes when the wind blows up by my way thats all i smell. cant wait until i move !

Everyone assumes that they know. Sure it was in the city watch and they said they'd fix it.

Why not just phone them.Tell them it is not just you smelling but tell them there are more people complaing on isaintjohn.Tell them the store name could be being put down because of this.Better still go on the website for the store chain and let them know.

There is also this problem with a store on the eastside at Lochlomond Mall. The main entrance to the store is by the garbage thing and it smells so bad. It's so gross. My daughter and I have to hold our breath when we walk by!

yeah nothing like the smell of rotting garbage on a hot summers day lol... this city is full of bad smells if you think about it, marsh creek, the pulp mill, the brewery. i am starting to think i am somewhat immune to it now that i live in the city, growing up in quispamsis i used to notice the smell of saint john somewhere on the highway on the way in here but now that i live here i don't notice it half as bad haha
