I am wondering if anyone knows the signs of a bowel obstruction or a small intestinal obstruction? I have a pain that comes and goes on my right side,feel sick to my stomach and have the chills.Dont want to go to hospital if it isnt necessary.Thanks

My doctor told me to always get stomach pain checked immediately!! Don't delay, go to outdoor!

If it's anything like in animals it would be accompanied by abdominal pain and graduating to vomiting as nothing can pass and therefore will come back up. It's best to have it checked out in case it ia an obstruction, it can perforate and you can become gravely ill due to septic shock from the bacteria in the bowel.

It could also be a gall bladder attack if the pains usually follow a fatty meal.

Thanks all.I went and got checked and it is a very bad bladder infection.I am doing better today
