did anyone else get a letter today or in the last coupla days from rogers telling ya they've increased there express package from 5 mbps to 7 mbps or is it just me ?

so has anyone noticed it actually increased? i did a speed test an mine actually dropped slightly from the avg

We have Rogers Express and we didn't get a note of this kind. We're not getting anything above 4 mb/s on the d/l, I can tell you that. Sometimes though, it does help to powercycle your modem...I do that every couple of weeks, it makes a difference.

ya ive done that several times already, still topping out a 3.89 mbps, i know the whole power cycle thingy i do high speed internet tech support lol

I don't think it happens "overnight". Wait a few days, or even weeks.

i got the "notice" about a week and a half ago, i just havent had anytime to call rogers to see whats up

I also received it, they are just trying to push their new $100 dollar a month internet. Details are on their website.

Yeah I got one too, and I got one via email. Never said anything about raising the price of the internet though. I automatically suspected that is what they were planning though. No one would raise internet speed and not charge the customers for it eventually.

The cost is to remain the same. Just the service is increasing.

ya the price is the same, an it is actually an increase in their express pack i called em finally, cause mine hadnt increased any, there sending out a tech today to check out my lines an everything for me
