Who else here got bit by the 3 rings of death?!

Just wondering how many people here in SJ bought a defective Xbox 360 and what will be your next course of action.

The very first one I bought was defective right out of the box........returned it a few hours later to Future Shop and I have been playing the 2nd one for at least 2 hrs a day since with no problems. I have owned it for over a year and recently logged 180 hrs with Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.

To each his own, I like all games and different systems. The Wii looks really, really fun for non-hardcore gamers. PS3 is a cool system that needs to have some good games come out for it!

my system went down about 5 months after it was purchased
called the xbox people with much fustration due to their phone system but once i was through to them all was good
they sent me a box aobut 2 days after the call i sent them my system then 4 days later i got the new system and all has been well with the system so far
hopefully all will remain well or we will do it all over again
at that point i was really happy that we decided against doing any mods to the system or we would have been **** out of luck
