I am looking for some fun things to do with my 12 year old step-son this summer. We want to do magic mountain, crystal palace, the zoo, etc. But were looking for more ideas... This will be the first time he has been here in NB so we want him to have fun... any ideas or Coupons for discounts would be great. Thank you!

I am not sure what he's into but here are something you could maybe do together as a family.

Kayaking in St. Martin's think it's about $35 for 2 hours
Jet Boat kinda expensive $33.00
Fundy Trail they do hiking tours
Mini Golf not sure if there is one in Saint John or not
Driving Range
Over night camping trip
Museum sometimes in the summer they have special exhibits on the go
Horseback Riding at Rockwood Park think it's $22 maybe
And if your going to Moncton there is a Go Cart Track close by Magic Mountain.

thanks for the ideas. My step son is 12, my kids are 3 and almost 2 so its hard to find something for all of us to do together. Any more ideas are great! thanks!

just wanted to add that the museum is free on canada day and also sometime in august, the free dates are on their website. In the summer we like to go and be a "tourist" and go to the old general store, firefighters museum, loyalist house, martello tower, etc. It's always really fun and most of the places I never got to see as a kid.

Oh yeah and there is lots going on at the library in the summer! we go twice a week :)
