within the city is pretty hard to find good fishing spots, yor best bet is to go outside the city

Thank you Woofer :)

Can you fish from the side of the lake or do you need a boat to go out?

we always fish from the beach, you will see places where there is home made chairs and fire pits, :)

biggest trout i ever got was a 24 inch brown trout and a 21 inch landlock salmon :) lots of perch, eels and catfish there to. :)

Awesome, I'm going to have to try fishing there soon.

Errr perch and eels...

I'm in Newfoundland right now but all the nice rivers that are near to where I'm staying are salmon fly fish only rivers... I don't have a fly rod here...

I've been waiting for a fishing license... They're actually sold out where I'm staying...
I usually use good old worms. They do the trick :)

i put a hook on the bottom by my sinker and 1 above it. i use seaworms. let it sit on bottom about 5 feet out and catch lots of flounders :) hope this helps, we are heading back to blacks harbour 1 week from this saturday for another fun day of fishing,.
