Can anyone name any books of old pictures of sj. I thought of going to a fellow by the name of Harold Wright, but I don't think he has a book, only loose pictures.

Actually there was a book done on Indian Town in the North End by Richard Burke...He had some good information and pictures. I think alot of Richards information came from Charlie Pitt who ran the barbar shop. I think Charlies barbar chair is in the museum. And I remember when someone broke out Charlies Window...It was a 100 years old. That was so sad........I hope whoever did that realizes when they grow up what a stupid thing they did. And that they broke the heart of an old man who inherited the window from his Fathers Days.......Tooo BAD

the web site you mentioned was set up by the NBCC and Harold Wright who has written about 10 books about Saint John.
