I mean, I was a mod on here for a year and a halve before I seen my first. Then one person did and now they're everywhere.

Would it not be better to actually title your thread appropriatly to the subject?

Usually attracts more attention if the subject implies drama! LOL

In most cases, I find it a helpful label. Usually it's someone having a tantrum about a trivial matter, nice to have an easy way to navigate in on a thread when you need a good laugh.

Its good humour though... reading complaints about trivial things.

Sometimes it just feels good to let it all out and have other people say "I know exactly what you mean."

its so the people who complain about rant posts can steer clear of them. Most forums have a rant section but here they don't so it's a way to warn people about what's inside..

I'm not saying anything against what they speak of in them, they are valid posts. But just calling it "My Rant" etc...

It's like in the free section threads titles "TGA: " or "Free Stuff". In the Classifieds stuff being titles "FS" and that's it. Everytime I see one I think 'duh.'

Ah I see. You mean then that the thread title should be more descriptive. Yes, I completely agree. :)

If the thread title is "My Rant" does that mean you should or should not post a reply?(not that I ever read them) If you do post a reply, should you follow the same subject or can you "rant" about something totally different? If you "rant" about something different should you then start a new my rant thread?

I wondered that too. I was going to put it in my original post, but figured against it. I don't think anyone should, as it's not convo, it's just someones rant...

Hmmm... so if it is not proper "Rant Etiquette" to post a reply, why are there so many replies posted? Wow, I didn't realize it was so complicated! lol.
