does anyone have the same problem as I do recieving messages I always have to log out and then back in to get my messages( pm's)

Did you try going into your user cp controls. It might just be your settings. You get in by clickin' User CP in the blue bar just above the original posting. Then click on Edit Options. This may help. - Rick.
