These laptops are nice machine. I have never heard anything bad about them. Assuming everything works well and their is no damages I would consider this machine as a decent one. Its not meant for gaming but for everything else its good. Its probably worth $200-$300 range for the laptop alone, if anyone disagrees post your thoughts. But if memory serves me well Toshiba produced tons of these all similar in hardware form with different CPUs.

Agreed, if it's closer to 200 vs 300 depending on what other specs it has; What size screen, if the battery still holds a charge, P4 or Celeron? CD rom or cd burner?, etc.
If it is a P4, has the 15" screen, a burner, and everything still works as it did when new, $300 would be a good deal, probably worth $400.
