Locked digital camera memory card

I have a digital camera, that i use quite often, and the other day it informed me my memory card was locked, i cant take pics or look at pics, anyone ever heard of this, or know how to Unlock my memory card

not sure about other types of memory but sd cards have a switch on one of the sides to lock or unlock

Glad that worked out.

SD (Secure Digital) is called Secure because it can be locked mechanically, just like 3.5" Floppy diskettes with the sliding window.

I have a bunch of SD Cards that don't have the sliding lock.
