I bought this laptop two weeks ago:

Everything's as I expected performance-wise, and I can watch streams and listen to MP3's with no trouble. Games work fine, and the sound is fine... EXCEPT when I log in to WoW. Only in that game does it sound like a scratched CD would- really skippy and broken.

I'm thinking Blizzard will say its my soundcard or something, but I really don't think that's the case. Does anyone have any other ideas? I'll be really bothered if I have to turn the sound off when I'm playing. :(

I don't know what WoW is but it could be an issue with WoW and Vista

WoW = world of war craft.. :) I would think it might be a glitch with vista because my brothers version works fine, same pc (almost) except he doesnt have the Vista monster installed... hth
