When we moved onto Winslow last September we complained about a water problem. The city workers came out and said that it was their problem not ours and they would look into it. This morning my wife phone the city to say that we could see in the road where the water was coming up and the pavement was sinking.

Apperantly when they showed up today, and the backhoe touched the pavement it collapsed and now there is a huge hole in the middle of the street.

At least our water pressure has increased tremendously. :D

I was wondering what that hole was in the road when I came home from work today. Scary thing is when I went to work I drove right over top on it. Thank God that it did not decide to sink with me on top of it.

It's filled in now....they haven't repaved....but the hole is gone and the water pressure remains

Yeah, nothing like a good collapse to block the holes in a water pipe.

Well listen,..don't tell everyone where it is and just run a hose to it so the neighborhood kids don't have far to go for a pool,Lol,LOl - Rick.

lol I enjoyed reading this because it's right in front of my old place (bldg next door to the yellow one shown).

Nice to see they improved the water pressure.
